      Curd & Fenugreek Pack:

This is one of the most effective home made hair packs I have used so far. To make this pack soak 50gms of fenugreek seeds in water for overnight. Grind the seeds next day with a little water & make a paste. Now add 4 table spoon curd (I use home made curd as it is free from any chemicals, you can also use Amul dahi) in the fenugreek paste, add honey & one tea spoon olive oil (you can skip oil in the pack by applying oil on your hair the previous night). Make a smooth paste & apply generously, every part of your hair & scalp must be covered with the pack. Wear a shower cap & do your daily chores. After 45 minutes wash your hair with water & rinse with a mild shampoo. You can apply conditioner if you want to. This pack will surely make your hair wonderful. Tips For Shiny Hair-

-Deep condition your hair at least weekly.

-Don’t use a lot of styling products as they can dull the hair by coating it.

-Use Strawberry hair mask: mash eight strawberries with one-tablespoon mayonnaise. Massage this into washed but damp hair. Cover it with a shower cap and then a warm towel. Wash out with a shampoo and then condition. This mask will give your hair a rich gloss.

-Increase the shine in your hair by giving your hair a cool blast of air to seal the cuticle after it is completely dry. If the cuticles are ragged then your hair will not shine.

-For shiny hair you can also mix one teaspoon of honey into 4 cups of warm water. After shampooing, pour the mixture through your hair, but do not rinse. Dry as normal.

Why is nutrition such an issue now a days?

If I eat three health meals a day why should I even think of using supplements? This seems logical. Eat well and you will get everything you need from your diet and will stay healthy.  Sadly it is no longer correct. For our parents that may have worked, but things have changed. Once upon a time vegetables were grown in your garden and animals grew up in fields. I say “once upon a time” but it is only 40 or 50 years ago that this was basically true. Now we find that vegetables are grown in depleted and often contaminated soils. They are nurtured with chemicals to get best production but the trace elements that are so important to our long term health are not in the soils to begin with and son the plants cannot put them into the vegetables and fruit that we buy.
